The first Labor Day was September fifth 1882. It is believed that Peter J. Mcguire Was the man who introduced Labor day. Later it was made known that many believed That Mathew Miguire introduced Labor Day. Later in that time period the day was changed to the first Monday of September. This has turned into a nationwide holiday.
